Christine Calandris (formerly Lark Morrigan) is a poet, novelist, and composer from South Run, a suburban community in Springfield, Virginia. She was featured as one of Medium’s standout poets in 2022 on the Official Medium Blog. One of her poems also made it to the front page of the site for National Poetry Month in 2023. After writing 1,100+ posts on Medium, she decided to pivot towards legacy works that showcase her multi-hyphenate vision. She is currently working on a coming-of-age fantasy novel about anthropomorphic owls, a comedic novella about mice, a seven-book fantasy series (inspired by the storytelling style and prose of Narnia, Prydain, Earthsea, and Riddle-Master), and a piano album.
She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics. She works in the pharmaceutical industry and lives with her husband in Pennsylvania.
